Every match of every draw of the 2019 Roland Garros tournament wasbroadcast around the world, thanks to SMT’s international broadcast production.The production was available across seven courts, and the automated productionon up to 12 courts at a time.
SMT’s virtual ads also returned to the French Open this year. Thevirtual content was customized for Roland Garros’s famous red clay courts. Theads made air six times a show for about five seconds.
SMT’s signature RG Vision IPTV system provided hundreds of mediaand broadcasters with real-time information and analysis, including real-timescores, match stats, draws, schedule, results, tournament stat leaders, RolandGarros history, and player bio information. Users were able to select and viewmultiple video streams at once, along with archived player interviews, allowingmedia and broadcasters to craft compelling storylines for fans. The system wasavailable throughout the stadium complex via hundreds of laptop and computerkiosks.
SMT provided Serve Speed data, and, as in previous years, providedFrench and English international graphics and other important event systems forthe live production.
